OBA PEE WEES OPEN SEASON WITH A WIN!
The Pee Wee Riverhawks opened their season on the road in Wyoming tonight as they took on Wyoming Wranglers 2. Some great pitching from Jack Denkers and Connor Cumming set the tone early in the game. Peyton Mahovlich pitched two nice innings to set up well for Chase Irwin to come in and close out the game. Hits were scattered throughout the line up but a couple notable moments included a big rip by rookie Travis Holmes and a triple from the speedy Noah Bright. Ty Moffatt was solid behind the plate and also got in on the base stealing. Contributions from everyone and a positive team approach led to the win. The final score was 8-6 for Alvinston. The Riverhawks will be back in action on Wednesday May 31 at 6:15 when they host Wyoming Wranglers 1 in Alvinston.
