Pirates Beat the Riverhawks
Our Peewee Riverhawks fall to 0-3 to start the season following a 11-3 loss to the Port Lambton Pirates. Although the wins haven't come yet the effort has been there. The goal early in the season is to get as many pitchers into the games as possible and still be competitive, so far these boys have not disappointed. Through the first 3 games we have used 11 different pitchers and all have done well. Our starting pitchers in all 3 games have done a great job, each pitching at least 3 innings. Once the offence kicks in a bit more these boys will be just fine. Developing pitchers and finding the best positions for our players is the key as we build towards what will be another exciting summer of Riverhawks ball. Keep working hard boys you will be rewarded!!
