Riverhawks Late Rally Comes up Short
Our first year players took over the pitching and catching duties tonight. Verberne, Minten and MacKellar all pitched well and kept us in the game. Aarts got his first mosquito start behind the plate and was solid in his first appearance even throwing out a would be base stealer. Irwin took over for Aarts after 3 innings on a hot night, and did his part to keep the game close. The Riverhaks bats came to life late but fell short falling to the Wranglers 13-10. Goss had a huge triple to lead the offense. A busy week for the boys so rest up we have 4 games in the next 7 days! Good job Riverhawks.
